Eagle Bluff Trip December 5-7
DSC00127
Cleveland students spent an exciting three days at Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center, December 5-7.  42 students participated in activities such as snowshoeing along the Root River, working together on team challenges, traversing the "tree-tops" high ropes course, and learning about pioneer life from 1859.

At the end of the trip, students were very proud to be presented with two important awards:  the Golden Plate, and the Eagle Eye Award.  Cleveland earned the Eagle Eye Award for the 10th consecutive year and the

Golden Plate for the first time!  The Eagle Eye award was earned by making an extra effort to conserve natural resources by turning off lights, recycling, turning off water faucets, etc.  The Golden Plate is an honor given to schools who create minimal food waste during their stay.  The group worked hard to throw away less than 3.6 lbs of food waste throughout the entire three days.
