| | | Community Events |  | Volunteers and partners band together to give Farnsworth Aerospace PreK-8 School a
facelift.
| Up to 75 volunteers
from Hands On Twin Cities, 3M and the community will descend on Farnsworth 5-8 Campus, tools in hand, to help with landscaping,
refurbishing of the playground and the painting of a mural. The
painting will depict the school and community’s many cultures and will signify that when people walk through the school’s doors, they join the Farnsworth
family |
The work is part of
the September / October Corporate Month of Service,
a national
initiative to increase community impact through corporate
leadership in
volunteerism and community involvement. The volunteers want
to show
that the pride that the community, students and staff members have in
their school will translate into a beautified, vibrant
exterior.
